Fees & Financial Information
I do not accept insurance directly. All clients pay privately at the time of service. Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, but frequency and duration are customized to your needs and agreed upon collaboratively.
Current session rates:
• Individual Psychotherapy (50 minutes): $250
• Extended or specialty sessions (if offered): available upon request
Payment can be made by Venmo, Zelle, or other secure methods you and I agree upon.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement (Superbills)
Because I am out of network with insurance plans, clients who have out-of-network benefits may be eligible for partial reimbursement from their insurer. I provide monthly superbills that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. A superbill includes detailed information about your sessions and the services provided so your insurer can process a claim.
Please note: reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan’s benefits and rules. It is your responsibility to contact your insurer to understand your out-of-network coverage and reimbursement process.
Sliding Scale Availability
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for individuals experiencing financial hardship. If sliding scale is needed, please reach out early — availability is limited and determined on a case-by-case basis.
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate/Informed Consent for Treatment of the expected cost of services.
Cancellation & Scheduling
To honor your time and mine, I ask for at least 36 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur the full session rate. This policy helps keep appointments available for all clients.
If you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement, it’s helpful to call the number on the back of your insurance card prior to starting therapy. Ask:
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
What percentage is reimbursed, after deductible?
Does my plan require submission forms or online portal uploads?
These steps help avoid surprises in reimbursement.
